Our speaker will be the State Senator Catherine Blakespear.
Senator Blakespear is a champion for climate action that is science based and which recognizes the scale and scope of the responses needed tor the worsening climate crisis. She chairs the Environmental Quality Committee and also serves on the Joint Legislation Committee on Climate Crisis Policies. She is a former journalist, past Mayor of Encinitas, an attorney and a dynamic public speaker.
